THE PRACTICAL GUIDES
School holiday programme booking checklist
A holiday programme can range from a short parent-and-child workshop to a three-day drop-off camp. Read the actual programme page for the chosen date and venue rather than relying on a provider’s general description.
Confirm the format
- Exact dates and daily start and finish times.
- Whether a parent stays, may leave, or must remain nearby.
- The stated age or school-year group.
- What the child needs to bring, including lunch, snacks, water and clothing.
Check the selected location
Multi-location operators can use different schools each holiday period. Code Camp publishes changing Melbourne locations, so parking and accessibility belong to the selected venue rather than the brand as a whole.
Discuss support before payment
Tell the provider about allergies, disability, sensory needs, medication or learning support and ask what adjustments are available. A broad accessibility statement is not a substitute for agreement about the child’s actual session.
Keep the current confirmation
Schedules and programmes can change. Save the booking terms, contact details and collection procedure, and recheck the operator’s message before the first day.
