Melbourne Kids Activity Guide covers places to go and organised activities for children aged roughly 2 to 12 across Greater Melbourne. It is a selected directory, not a complete register or a ranking.

What earns a listing

A listing must be a visitable venue or a programme with published Melbourne delivery information. We include indoor play, holiday programmes, party options, play cafés, children’s classes and family attractions. We exclude childcare, schools as education providers, medical services and general parenting services.

One useful record per option

Branches are separate only when they have their own location and visit details. A multi-location holiday provider is recorded once as a programme unless individual branches need materially different comparison information. Overlapping features such as parties, food and holiday sessions are shown as categories on the same record.

Evidence and uncertainty

Profiles link the official pages used for ages, activities, hours, booking and practical details. Missing information stays unconfirmed. Accessibility is never reduced to a single yes/no label: we record the specific published facilities and ask families to confirm their own requirements.

Images and updates

Official provider images and brand graphics identify each listing. Credits and source details are recorded; inclusion does not imply partnership. Programme dates, prices and opening details should be rechecked before each school holiday period, with a full evidence review every quarter.
